Lovely old chamber pot, probably Victorian, in black ceramic with a painted red poppy motif - it’s got a bit of a canal ware feel to it. Embossed MADE IN ENGLAND on the bottom. Definitely showing signs of age - some cloudiness / discolouration to the black paint as well as a couple of marks in the paintwork and discolouration inside, and the gilt on the rim and the handle may as well not be there. But there are no chips, cracks or restoration and it’s really very pretty. Would make a beautiful planter if you don’t have much call for a chamber pot. Diameter, 24cm Height, 13cm
