This listing is for an antique Nakara dresser or trinket box by C.F. Monroe. The dresser box is 3 1/2 inches tall and is 4 inches in diameter. The box is six-sided, it is green glass with a satin finish. The box is hand painted with white beaded design along the side and top. The interior is lined with its original silk fabric. The cover is mounted with a bas relief, gilt brass rim that is hinged in the back. It is signed on the bottom "NAKARA C.F.M. CO.". The box is in overall excellent condition for its age.
