An appealing little German spill vase featuring a minstrel and castle towe and sold as a souvenir from Brighton - such items were often based on popular fairy tales. It is approximately 3in x 1.25in and 3.5in tall, on the back it is impressed '5968 Germany' - the tower and the minstrel's tunic are a lustre finish. There is paint loss to the top of the flag pole and a couple of other specks, the paint on the back of the minstrel's hat is worn from handling, but overall this is in excellent condition for it's age with no chips or cracks.
