This is a charming antique German glazed bisque porcelain figurine of a lady or "Grandma". She is beautifully detailed with hand painted wire rimmed glasses, a coral red pout, blushed cheeks. She wears voluminous ruffled bonnet edged in gilt paint over a show of brown hair. The period dress is also highlighted with hand applied gilt. These figures were produced in the late 19th century and early 20th, using hollow slip cast moulding. She is in overall good antique condition, the hollow base rim displays a minor shallow antique flake on the outer edge typical of being placed on hard surfaces over time.
