A rare and beautiful Doulton Burslem Cake stand. The pattern in is of apples and pink apple blossoms. pattern number slightly illegible but looks to be 10490. Marked with the incised Burslem mark of 1880-1902 and a beautiful diamond date mark for 7th Dec 1880. The item is in good condition. Colours are vibrant. Some crazing. A small chip to the rim and a feint hairline crack from the rim to inner plate. (see images). This is a special piece and well worth adding to an antique collection. Possibly Museum worthy.
