A fine Victorian relief-moulded stoneware jug by Copeland, Stoke-on-Trent, officially registered with the British Patent Office on 24 February 1870 (design lozenge impressed to base, Class IV – ceramics). • Height: 17 cm • Striking blue and white decoration, with moulded floral and foliate panels and a Celtic-style band to the rim. • Clear impressed mark “COPELAND” and registration lozenge to base. • Condition: Good antique condition with typical light age-related crazing; no major cracks or chips. A documented example of Copeland’s registered designs, this jug is a superb collector’s piece of Victorian ceramic history.
