The last copy of this bell I was able to locate came from an estate sale in the Hamptons. I imagine this bell was probably used along the East Coast during the turn of the century as well. Whether it was in a hotel, or in a private residence is anyone’s guess. It is approximately 4.5” in height, with a base diameter of 3.75”. The bell would have likely been made and used during the very late 19th century. The fact that this bell is in such immaculate shape and condition is truly stunning. As you can see from the photos, the patina is truly lovely and the metal is in pristine shape. The mechanism works flawlessly and the tone and timbre of the bell is outstanding. Please look at all the pictures, ask any questions, and buy with confidence!
