Decorative Tile - Dover Mills Delaware U.S.A. Condition is “Used”. Dispatched with Royal Mail, 2nd Class, signed for. An unusual piece in generally good used condition with no major issues. Minimal surface wear commensurate with age and a few little ‘nibbles’ to the edge - see photos. Colours are still strong and vibrant. Size approx 6” x 6”. The ‘Shakespeare’ on the tile refers, not to the poet, but to William McIntyre Shakespeare who owned the mill from 1854-1879. Information @ www,gristfromabbottsmill.net by Steve Childers. The lines of verse are from the poem ‘The Water Mill’ by Sarah Doudney.
