Listing is for an antique 19th Century Wedgwood Black Basalt Portrait Medallion with frame. I believe the frame is original to the medallion of Julia, who I believe is modeled after Julia Flavia, the daughter of Roman emperor Titus. Frame is 3.5” x 4” with glass panel and inset gilded rim. Medallion is 2.25” x 2.75” No flaws in the form of chips or cracks to the medallion.
