The underside carries the printed DECORO mark with MADE IN ENGLAND and REGD No 429479, together with the hand-painted pattern or decorator number 453. The vase has a deep glossy ground with a wonderfully bold hand-painted exotic Bird of Paradise design surrounded by stylised flowers, foliage and sweeping Art Deco decoration in rich red, yellow, green, blue and purple tones.
