This is a vintage American Encaustic Tile Co tile, AETCO mark to rear. I have several more of this tile… designed in the Spanish Cuerda Seca or Talavera style, featuring a yellow, blue, and green Moorish-like pattern from the 1920-1940's.. The colors are very vivid. Overall condition is great!! Measures 6” square. It weighs nearly a pound and a half on my scale.
