This is a 12" square glazed ceramic tile. This Art Nouveau woman with flowers is based on the original art piece by Czech artist Alphonse Mucha named "The Flowers: Rose" created in 1898. (One of a series of 4: Rose, Lily, Iris and Carnation) The glazing on this has a jewel-like glow in rich variations of orange, green, creme, and burgundy. Absolutely gorgeous and in perfect condition. The tile has a sturdy black backing on it which hold both an easel and a hook for hanging.
