A delightful sponge-ware bowl. Diameter 28.5cm / 11 inches and height / depth 7cm approx. Nice vintage age condition. It is in good condition with the exception of some minor general wear. No chips cracks or damage of any kind. Some fine crazing. This is one of 3 bowls of nearly identical size in this pattern one of which has a very small hint of an impressed mark in the very centre of the base (2 of 3). This one has an indentation in the glaze a the same point but nothing more. Probably English as it shares the border pattern with another piece I have listed which is multicoloured. Charming pattern which is well executed.
