This 1988 Royal Crown Derby Quail paperweight is crafted from fine English bone china and decorated in the iconic Old Imari Pattern, wjich features a rich palette of deep cobalt blue, vivid iron red, and hand-applied 22 carat gold highlights. The design was intorduced in 1981 and retired in 1991, this quail was one of the first six paperweights ever designed by the company. It measures approximately 2.5 inches high x 2.5 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep. It features a gold stopper which indicates first quality production.
